Frequently asked questions
A few things people keep asking. If yours isn't here, let us know.
What is Alligator Blood?
Alligator Blood is a social experiment to answer one question: where are poker players actually playing? It starts as a simple social network; create a profile, add where you play, and connect with others. We're building a community-driven map and directory of the poker world: people, places, and things.
Who is Alligator Blood for?
Anyone involved in the poker world, from players of all levels to the people and businesses that make up the broader community.
Why should I join now?
Because the best version of Alligator Blood gets built with the community. The earlier you join, the more you can help shape the map, the directory, and what the platform becomes next.
How do I get an account?
Alligator Blood is currently in a private, referral-only beta. To join, you'll need an invite from an existing member. Once you're in, create your profile, add where you play, and start contributing by connecting with others and building out the poker directory.
Is it free?
Yes. Creating an account and using the directory is free.
What can be listed on Alligator Blood?
We focus on the poker world: people (who you are), places (where you play), and things (what you consume). That can include poker rooms, cash-game spots, livestreams, podcasts, communities, businesses, tools, and more.
Can I update or correct a listing?
Yes. If something looks off, you can contact us at
support@alligatorblood.com
to suggest an update. If you're the owner of a listing (person, place, or thing), we encourage you to claim it and update the information directly.
How do I become an owner and claim a place or thing?
Go to any place or thing profile and at the top right of the screen click "Claim" to begin the process. Owners have control over the content of the page.
What if I do not see my place or thing listed?
Submit a request by contacting support@alligatorblood.com, and we will review and list it as appropriate.
How do you use my data?
We use your information to operate the site and improve the directory. Anything you choose to make public may appear on your profile or listings. For questions, contact us.
How accurate is the data?
It's community-driven, and accuracy improves as more people contribute and verify listings.
Is this legal / safe?
We don't host or run games. We organize publicly shared information about the poker world.
What's coming next?
We're starting with profiles, connections, and the directory. What comes next will be driven by how people actually use it.
How can I help?
Complete your profile, add where you play, invite friends, and submit anything we're missing.
How do I contact you, give feedback, or delete my account?
You can contact us at support@alligatorblood.com.
